Ceremonial opening of the first Hublot Boutique in Austria

On 22 October 2014 the Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot, together with the family-owned company Juwelier Wagner, celebrated the official opening of the first ever Hublot Boutique in Austria.

The new sales premises at the exclusive Viennese address in the heart of Vienna’s inner city were inaugurated in the presence of Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of the Administrative Board of Hublot, Juwelier Wagner proprietors Hermann and Katharina Gmeiner-Wagner, and invited guests, lovers of Hublot watches and representatives of the media. Also at the celebration were Burgtheater director Karin Bergmann, actors Michael Heltau, Nikolaus Ofczarek, Mavie Hörbiger and Katharina Lorenz, PORR CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss, Ferrari and Maserati dealer Jürgen Keusch, entrepreneur Gerald Schweighofer (Schweighofer Holzindustrie), editors of Falstaff magazine Wolfgang and Angelika Rosam, entrepreneur Christian Niedermeyer, and many more.

Hublot is delighted about the cooperation with the House of Wagner, which like the Swiss watch manufacture lives by a philosophy based on tradition combined with continual development and innovation. “In the Gmeiner-Wagner family and their company we have found a strong, dynamic partner, and one that is perfectly suited to us. We share the same values and pursue the same aim of providing unique products to delight our customers. We are very pleased about this cooperation with Juwelier Wagner and we look forward to many joint projects here in our Vienna Boutique,” said Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of the Administrative Board of Hublot.

The sales premises are on the ground floor, and have been created in accordance with the prestigious new Hublot interior design concept ‘The Art of Fusion’. The combination of different materials and styles create a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere. Softly shimmering wall elements with motifs from the 16th century, interpreted in a modernistic style, alternate with the finest materials. Contemporary furniture and handmade chairs and sofas in fine quality leather, combined with artistic elements such as extravagant pop art images of successful Hublot models, contribute to the comfortable and inviting ambience. Generously proportioned display cabinets offer optimal presentation of the watches and show off the details particularly well. Lovers of watches are invited to immerse themselves in the world of Hublot and to take advantage of advice provided in a private setting by the friendly specialist staff at Juwelier Wagner.

On the lower ground floor there is also a 400 m2 event area which Juwelier Wagner will use to entertain guests and friends of the company.
